Sadly, our August-2020 Santa Cruise to the Mediterranean was Postponed.  Due to the impact of the Corona Virus Pandemic, and the accompanying economic environment, it has been decided that we should postpone the cruise until 2022.  A date has not yet been selected, but we plan on staying with Princess Cruises and to follow the same itinerary.

Annually I coordinate a special School4Santas aboard a wonderful Princess Cruise. We have cruised in Alaska(Three times), to Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean (6 times) and to the Nordic countries, Germany and Russia. The next cruise will be our 12th.

The following calendar was created for the 2020 cruise and we do not know yet what dates our next cruise will be.   However, this original schedule will give you an idea of what the next cruise will entail.

Some Santas and Mrs. Claus may only be able to join one week of the cruise. Others may take the full cruise and even add days to visit Athens, Rome and also the burial site of St. Nicholas after we leave the cruise in Rome. 

During the cruise we plan to visit 11 ports in six countries, with visits in the first week to Santorini, Kotor, Sicily, Naples, with the half way point in Barcelona. Then we continue for a second week departing Barcelona and visiting Gibraltar, Marseille, Genoa. Florence/Pisa, and ending in Rome. The exact route may change.  You can join us for the two weeks or just cruise for one week. (But two is so much nicer!)

And during each week, I will present a School4Santas on the two days we are at sea. Attendees will receive a Diploma for their attendance and portions of the Cruise are tax deductible.

Special visit to the Burial site of St. Nicholas in Bari, Italy

Following our arrival in Rome, I plan to coordinate a special land tour to Bari, Italy where we will visit the Basilica of St. Nicholas, and the final burial site of St. Nicholas. This is not part of the Princess Cruise and more details on this additional item will be announced at a later date.

We will probably announce the cruise dates once we are assured of everyone’s safety, and Princess resumes service.  We will also be looking forward to future special booking offers.   They generally offer some wonderful discounts for this two week cruise.  Especially if you book a balcony room. There are actually savings for all categories of rooms and length of cruise.

While on board, each morning when we are at sea, we will have a full School4Santas. Because some Santas and wives will only be going on one week of the cruise, I am offering to teach a full school each week. Included in the school will be a Santa Claus Oath Ceremony and a Graduation ceremony with presentation of personalized diplomas.

There is no additional cost for this school if you book directly with our Cruise Coordinator, Kimberly Switzer, and because you are attending the School you can also claim a tax deduction. Costs for the Bari, Italy trip to St. Nicholas’ burial site can also be deducted.

Only when booking with our private princess cruise coordinator can you also get the school for FREE!

Those who booked through the IUSC at Princess Cruises are fully registered for our School4Santas and can also get a tax deduction for portions of the cruise and the School. Should you decide to book through your own travel agent, you are not part of the school group and you cannot claim a tax deduction.
