This page is under development. Details on the Oklahoma School should be finalized by January 15.
The earlier you start planning for the Holiday Season, the better prepare you are going to be. Plus, it may be less stressful if you start early. This June school is a perfect time to kick off your plans.
One of my firm beliefs is that Santas need to start early in the year if they want to make the best of the training they are receiving. So, getting your training done by summers-end allows you the time necessary to apply what you have learned.
As with all of our schools, this is for all Santas, Mrs. Claus and those interested in the Santa industry. Whether you are real-bearded or theatrically bearded; professional or just a volunteer, this school has something for everyone.
There are two categories for school registration. New Students and Alumni (returning students)
LOCATION – NOY YET CONFIRMED, SO DO NO MAKE ANY RESERVATIONS YET.
CURRENT COURSE BOOK – To celebrate over 20 years of presenting my schools in cities across the United States, I revised and updated the agenda and the course book, “Behind the Red Suit,” which has some new sections, and is included with all New Student or Couple registrations. With so many changes in our industry during the past decade, I feel it is important for the school to keep up with the times.
Alumni may also order a copy of the 20th Anniversary course book at a discount.
REGISTRATION COSTS – Registration for the two-day standard school starts at $355.00 for a single student and $535.00 for a couple. This includes 16 hours of training, the 265-page course book and your personalized diploma, or two diplomas for a couple. Travel, meals and lodging are not included. If you have already bought the course book, new student registration is $40 less, just $315 for single, or $495 for a couple.
Alumni Rates are just $285 per person, and $395 per couple and include the full course and diplomas, no course book.
Anyone registering for a “live school,” also has the option of adding the fully recorded Home Study version of the school at a special discounted price of $195 when ordered with your school registration. This is a $90 savings over the normal price. It also allows you to receive an upgraded diploma.
MAKING THE MOMENT – For those wanting the third day of training, “Making the Moment,” I am offering the 6-hour home study course for just $115 when ordered with to the regular school registration. This is a $50 savings over the normal price.
This will include a thumb-drive with the full 6-hours of my advanced training, “Making the Moment,” with concentration and practical application on photography, posing, special events, and advice, techniques and almost 200 photos and diagrams for the Professional Santa and Mrs. Claus. Special certificates acknowledging advanced study, are included.
SCHEDULE – The daily school schedule is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. For the full agenda click here. Prior to attending the school all students are invited to watch “The History of Santa Claus,” a special video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/UaTsHXJFtSs
SANTA CLAUS OATH – At the close of our first day of class, around 4:30 pm on Saturday, I will host a presentation of the Santa Claus Oath. All Santas and Mrs. Claus from the region are most welcome to join the class in the Oath ceremony. One does not need to attend the school in order to take part in the ceremony. Special Oath certificates, suitable for framing will be presented to all attendees.
SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER/SOCIAL – Following the Oath ceremony, as we have done with all of our Schools, we will have a special dinner/social at 6:30 P.M. at The Golden Corral, 4968 Centre Pointe Drive, Charleston, SC 29418. This will be coordinated with the Palmetto Santas. Again, all regional Santas, Mrs. Claus, families and friends are most welcome to attend. You do not need to attend the school to join us for dinner. The Senior Citizen, all-you-can-eat, dinner is around $21.00 including your drink. (Separate checks please.) You can also just order coffee or a soft drink and join us.
