These are the printed plans and drawings to build your own Santa’s Chair. The base design is to look as if a toy maker made it! You customize it with your own touches, colors, etc. It has strong construction, yet it is portable and easy to use at any event or activity. Can accommodate Santa and four adults or children. Up to 900 lbs.
After years of using Antique chairs, Recliners, over-stuffed chairs, folding chairs and hotel banquet chairs, Santa decided he wanted a custom chair.
He wanted a chair that was colorful and looked like it was made by a toy maker. In addition, it had to be wide enough to have one child on each knee, plus a child on each arm of the chair and room for parents or more children on each side. It also had to have wheels and fit through any doorway. The back had to be removable so it would fit in an SUV or station wagon. And most important, it had to be comfortable.
Composed of a base unit and a removable back, assembled it is 24” deep x 48” wide x 63” high.
The base of the chair is just 28” high x 24″ deep x 48″ wide, without the back, and can be used when you have a beautiful background setting and do not need the back of the chair in the photos. Being only 24” deep the chair, with built-in wheels, can easily go through almost any doorway, and is easy for someone to quickly move into place and remove immediately after Santa’s appearance.
